Brother Kevin Strong, FSC Honored for Service as First President of Cardinal Gibbons School

Baltimore, MD – On May 31, 2008 the Cardinal Gibbons School honored Brother Kevin Strong, FSC, the school’s first President, upon his retirement by naming the courtyard in his honor .  The ceremony began with Mass with Faculty and Staff in the Weber House Chapel and ended in the courtyard with a public ceremony.  Br. Kevin’s five years of service to Cardinal Gibbons have seen growth in enrollment and widespread campus improvements.  The Cardinal Gibbons Family will certainly miss Br. Kevin’s steady and gracious leadership but know that his tenure and legacy will always be present.  The courtyard with its peaceful setting, places for community gatherings and space for prayer and reflection is certainly a fitting tribute to a true Brother of the Christian Schools.
